Seeing boats with tacky, mailbox-like letters glued to the hull inspired us to provide a way for boat owners to be excited to add their registration numbers in a classy way to their boats.

We have been operating a sign shop for 20 years, and we love being on the water, whether on a sea-doo, a 30ft motorboat or a sailing vessel. We had requests from owners over the years to make custom boat license decals, and the number of submissions grew over time. Seeing a need for an online service like this sparked an idea. What if, through an online presence, we provided boat numbers to all of Canada, the country we are proud to call home? Thus began Boat Numbers Canada.

A family business operated through Alpha Graphics and Signs. My wife and I, with our staff, are proud of each order fulfilled. Especially when our customers comment on how pleased they are with the license numbers they received a few days after placing their order.

We live in the humble town of Fergus, Ontario (close to many lakes and a short 1.5-hour drive to either Lake Huron, Lake Ontario, Lake Erie, Georgian Bay or the Muskoka Lakes).
